Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• System Development: Assist in developing and optimizing Web Applications and APIs designed for Linux, Windows, and AWS environments.
• Infrastructure Support: Support the deployment and daily maintenance of Cloud (AWS/Azure) and On-premise servers to ensure system stability.
• Security Operations (4thEye): Perform daily administration of 4thEye Professional, including managing device permissions, handling release keys, and reviewing security logs.
• GitLab Maintenance: Assist in managing the GitLab server, including user access control, repository organization, and performing routine software updates.
• CI/CD Implementation: Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and use Docker containers to streamline application deployment.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine system monitoring and assist in basic root-cause analysis for technical incidents.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, security policies, and deployment steps.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Software Development (Web/API) with a experience in Cloud environments.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows Server administration, including networking, storage, and security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with NGINX, Tomcat, and container tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
• Proven experience managing GitLab servers and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in Bash or Python for infrastructure automation and task simplification.
• Experience with monitoring and security tools (knowledge of 4thEye is a significant advantage).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Detail-oriented and organized; able to work independently as an individual contributor or collaboratively within a team.
• Good command in English and computer/AI literacy.
• (Optional) Good command in Japanese language.
